The Kanu-Hecht water sports site in Dalmsdorf is idyllically situated on Lake Käbelicksee in the heart of the Müritz National Park and is an ideal starting point for tours on the young Havel River. In addition to canoe, kayak, and SUP rentals, the station also offers overnight accommodations such as campsites, rustic wine barrels, or small garden houses, as well as a cyclist's rest stop with snacks. The combination of paddling and cycling is particularly attractive: after a relaxing canoe tour across the lakes or river, the surrounding forests and villages can be explored on well-maintained cycle paths. Those without their own bike can rent bikes on site. This makes Kanu-Hecht the perfect starting point for active days that combine water adventures, nature enjoyment, and cycling in one tour.

A very well-designed rest area with benches and tables. The roof provides shade or, if necessary, shelter from the rain. Very useful for a rest.

The village of Liepen can look back on a long history. It was first mentioned in documents in 1386. While Gothic brick churches can be found in other villages of this age, the present church in Liepen is relatively new. It was commissioned in 1886 from a Neustrelitz master builder after the old half-timbered church could no longer be used due to dilapidation. The damage this church had suffered during the Thirty Years' War had only been repaired in a makeshift manner. The builder was Baron von Kapherr, the then landowner of Klein Vielen. The Flatterhus is a starting point for cycling tours and is located on the "SpurenWeg" (track path), which is also accessible for the visually impaired. A special highlight is the annual Bat Night with exciting activities. Kratzeburg is ideal for a nature-based cycling tour in the region.
