The bridge offers a fantastic view. It's also great for cycling across.

Anyone traveling along the Havel Cycle Path will experience an incredibly beautiful stretch from here to Wesenberg. A narrow, paved path winds through the rolling landscape, passing through open spaces, forests, and lakes, always in solitude. A ride to dream about!

A lively little town with history. A beautiful church on the market square; there's also Cafe Reinhold: a good breakfast on the terrace.

The road from Vipperow to Bollewick is absolutely unsuitable for cycling! Cars whizz past you at 100 km. And at the crossing of the Bundestrasse it is DEATHLY DANGEROUS! Absolutely irresponsible that Mecklenburger Radtour sends you there.

Various hiking trails lead over the bridge, including a circular hike from Fürstenberg, which includes the town church, the Baalensee bridge and the Röblinsee settlement.

A very beautiful bridge, which, with its well-placed rails for bicycles, is the best proof that, unlike the bridge at the Kannenburg Lock, there are still architects/civil engineers who know their craft.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the poor maintenance of the bike paths. The scenic tour is highly recommended. Halfway through the tour, two of our bikes sustained damage. Luckily, there was an alternative train station for the return journey. With sturdy bikes, the area is a highlight.

Anything but white, but nice and quiet here. Perfect for a break.
