The pier in Rechlin on the southern shore of Lake Müritz is a striking wooden walkway that extends far into the lake and offers impressive views over the water. For cyclists on the Müritz Cycle Route, it's an ideal place to take a break and enjoy the expansive lake landscape. The pier is a signature feature of the route, connecting cycling along the shore with a unique panorama of Lake Müritz.

Good for a rest and to eat

In Rechlin, there is peace now, No soldiers, no large chest. The cyclists come, laugh, laugh, And are happy to be guarded here. The soldiers have long since left, No more planes have flown here. The planes that once soared high in the sky, Are now only dreams we like to cherish. But here at the cyclist's rest stop, there is great joy, No noise, no roar, only a quiet river in the lap. Peace creates such beautiful places, Everyone laughs there, even the jokes. A beer, a loaf of bread, the sun shines, Here people laugh until they cry. Rechlin, you peaceful place, Here you can only appreciate!
