⚓️🛳️ The Geeste harbor (or more precisely: the mouth of the Geeste River where it flows into the Weser) in Bremerhaven is the historical heart of the city and the central transition between the old harbor basins and the river. It is closely linked to the city's founding, its emigration history, and today houses the Havenwelten (Harbor Worlds) with its maritime attractions.

You should definitely take some time here. Visiting the submarine is very interesting.

On the bike path between Schiffdorf and Spaden, you'll find the lock. The Geeste River flows alongside it. A restaurant is located directly to the right of the bridge. A great bike path leads along the Geeste to Bremerhaven. Highly recommended 👍.
