Sugarloaf is one of the tallest mountains in Maine, at 4,237 feet. This resort has year round activities in Carrabassett Valley, with 1240 skiable acres of skiing in the winter and golfing, biking & more in the summer.

At 4,050 feet, this mountain is one of the easier summits in the area. Upon reaching the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the local mountain ranges adorned with lush pine trees on the hills.

Cranberry Peak is part of the Bigelow Range in western Maine. It is a scenic mountain standing at about 3,200 feet. The trail to reach the summit is mixed with wooded paths and rocky outcrops, and once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with stunning views of nearby lakes and mountains.

Mount Redington is one of the state's 4,000-foot peaks, and it just takes a small detour from the famous Appalachian National Scenic Trail to reach the peak. At some spots, the trail to the summit might be difficult to find, so it's better to bring a GPS. At the forested top you will find a canister with a notebook to enter your name.

Bald Mountain is a popular peak in Franklin County, Maine. There are several trails to get to the top and none of them are too difficult. There is a viewing platform at the top which gives a wonderful view of Mooselookmeguntic Lake.

Tumbledown Pond is a great place for a break on your way to one of the Tumbledown Mountain Peaks. The pond is a popular spot for fishing, hiking and running, so there is a good possibility you will see others out on the trail near the lake.

Tumbledown Pond is located in the Mount Blue State Park and is a picturesque destination nestled amidst the Tumbledown Mountain range. The pond offers stunning reflections of the mountain scenery and is a great location to take a little rest during your hike.
