the gravel foot/cycle path runs along the Gooimeer coast. Beautiful views over the Gooimeer. Here the old cliff coast of the former Zuiderzee is still visible. With a little imagination you can see how the Zuiderzee could crash against the coast here. Seen from Huizen, the path runs to the place where the Oud Naarden beach pavilion used to be located, including a water sports location.

The Naarder Eng is the forest plot that borders Huizen on the west side. It has several hiking trails. A very nice one is the foot/cycle path that runs along the Gooimeer towards Oud Naarden

The first path from the Microphone Path that runs parallel to the Farfler Path had completely disappeared and overgrown. Full of hogweed. The Microphone Path is passable and well paved.

Herdwick sheep roam freely between the cattle grids. They can get in your way on the path or suddenly run through the bushes next to you. In general, they do go aside.
