It is very likely that a polder mill stood here before 1637. Over the centuries, the mill has been replaced several times, but it has always been indispensable for regulating the water level of the Sint Anthoniepolder.

A scenic route along the Binnenmaas in the Hoeksche Waard, with calm waters, green meadows and characteristic farms. This path offers plenty of opportunity to cycle and enjoy the rural South Holland landscape, with beautiful views of the Binnenmaas and plenty of nature around you.

A large tunnel under the Oude Maas (branch of the Rhine) takes cars from the A29 to the other side of the river. A second, separate, huge tunnel is ONLY for cyclists/two-wheelers and pedestrians. Escalators and a large elevator allow you to get in and out of the tunnel safely. Absolutely fantastic and hard to imagine in Germany...

Windmills always have a special charm and an incredible attraction and if you can also visit them, it doesn't get any better than that... Always worth a rest, a break as at least on weekends there is coffee and cake in the small café

The bicycle tunnel is pleasant and not too steep. The scooter/tractor tunnel next to it is a lot steeper and therefore more fun for cyclists. Ideal for racing with your cycling buddies. Please note: you are not allowed to cycle in the scooter tunnel, so do this at your own risk.
