Peace Temple This Peace Temple was built in 1814 as an expression of joy for the regained freedom after the French period under Napoleon. This temple only survived the explosion during World War II following a failed V2 rocket launch. A new Peace Temple was built at the launch site in 1945 using old materials. Due to its poor condition, this temple was demolished in 1969, but a new temple was built there in 1977. (Text on the sign at the entrance on the IJsselmeer side)

The harbor is beautiful! Watching ships, sitting on a bench, watching the ships, eating ice cream... simply enjoying the time there!

The current Martinikerk in Koudum was built in 1857. This hall church has a two-tiered tower and a constricted spire. Much of the interior comes from the previously demolished 17th-century church.

A small pond in the middle of the forest. There's a bench on one side for a quick rest. A bridge crosses the pond. A very beautiful, unexpected place.

A small village center with a few shops, restaurants, and a beautiful church. At the intersection, there's a good, sheltered picnic area for self-catering with a beautiful view.

Kippenburg Estate. There is an information board about the history and a map of the estate.
