Visited the Japanese garden on a weekday. It was not too busy because it was possible to take pictures without many people in it. So I chose exactly the right time. It was very worthwhile to visit this old, vulnerable and beautiful garden. Highly recommended.

What an extraordinary place! The Japanese Garden in Clingendael is truly beautifully maintained – every detail shows care, dedication and deep respect for Japanese garden art. The harmony between nature, water, stones and plants is breathtaking and radiates a serene tranquility. For me, this garden is without a doubt one of the top 3 most beautiful gardens in the world. The presence of authentic Japanese elements, such as the lanterns, bridges and rare plants, makes it extra special. A hidden gem in the Netherlands that continues to touch you – again and again.

The Hague Forest covers 100 hectares and stretches from Maliewald to the city of Wassenaar. It is also called "The Green Entrance to The Hague."

Every time I cycle or walk through here I am amazed at what a beautiful forest this is. Remarkable that it is actually "just" in the city. Beautiful paths and magnificent trees.

The Hague is a relatively green city with beautiful parks.
