Alpe Musgatina is a beautiful mountain pasture located at the foot of Monte Bar at an altitude of 1390 m. Renovated in 2000, the Alpe has gone from an animal shelter to an efficient dairy farm. An asphalted road leads directly to the Alp.

The top of Monte Bar, at 1816 metres, opens onto a phenomenal panoramic view of both Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore. The path that leads to the summit is also particularly evocative, immersed in the coniferous forest in a south-west direction below the summit.
