An old ironworks. Great for cooling off in the river in summer.

The Magliasina River is approximately 15 km long, flows into Lake Lugano (Ceresio), and encompasses two floodplains of national importance. Numerous animal species (e.g., crayfish) and rare protected plant species (ostrich fern, wetland forests with white and black alder) live in this area.

A beautiful museum about the life of a miller. The cantine isn't always open, but there is a water feature. The waterfall is ideal for swimming in the summer. The place is very popular and worth seeing.

Tiny little bridge across the Magliasina river. When it's warm, you can cool off with a paddle in the crystal clear water.

From this location in Cademario you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area, including Lake Lugano and the Swiss Alps.

The "Al Maglio" waterfall is located on bike trail no. 355, right next to the old "Maglio del Malcantone" (Hammersmith Museum). Both are well worth seeing.

Old hammer forge from 1860, now a museum, next to it a snack kiosk, and next to it again the Jersey waterfall. Worthwhile place, free entry (donation box).

A detour here is definitely worth it. The very last part is up a flight of stairs on foot. A little further down is the beautiful cemetery.
