The Dernbacher Kopf is the second highest elevation in the Neuwied district. A visit to the summit stone is always worth a visit. The surrounding area offers beautiful views toward the Montabaurer Höhe or the Eifel Mountains.

Near the campsite at the Wiedschleife in Roßbach, a suspension bridge crosses the Wied River. It rocks slightly as you walk across it. From the bridge, you have beautiful views of the tree-lined stream. On hot summer days, it's also worth taking off your shoes and treating your feet to a refreshing dip in the cool river water.
