Lake Brasimone (also known as the Scalere basin and the Brasimone basin) is an artificial lake located in the Bolognese Apennines along the Brasimone stream, in the municipality of Camugnano and is part of the Suviana and Brasimone lakes regional park.

Camugnano is a town in the Bolognese Apennines. The parish church of the capital is dedicated to San Martino Vescovo. The town hall is housed in a building constructed in the 1930s to house the Casa del Fascio and the Town Hall. During the Second World War the complex suffered heavy damage from aerial bombardments. It continues to be the Town Hall
