When it comes to the most beautiful towns in Alicante, Polop de la Marina always has a place on the list, as few places have as much charm and tourist attraction as this beautiful little corner of Alicante.

Go early, limited parking space. Great prospects.

The Font del Molí recreational area is the starting point for several hiking itineraries and running routes in the Puig Campana geographies, including a popular ultra trail and a crowded Vertical Kilometer that ascends the infernal quarry of the Marietes ravine, on the south slope. The trail goes up the road for about 400 meters, passes the Canal del Barranquet bridge and follows the white and yellow markings of PR-CV 289. At the first crossroads, follow the path to the left and leave the trail PR-CV 14 that climbs to the distant top of the mountain through the quarry of the Les Marietes ravine. The route follows the markings of the PR-CV 289 along Camí de Polop.
