At the Visitor Centre, visitors can learn firsthand about the natural values of Sierra Espuña, such as the flora and fauna, the geological history and the hydrological-forestry restoration actions of the late 19th century, as well as information on the cultural values of this protected natural space.

The Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Alcantarilla, Murcia, is a beautiful neo-baroque Catholic temple, built in the mid-20th century. Its design resembles a Roman basilica, similar to that of St. Paul's on the outskirts of Rome. The main façade has three doors with semicircular arches, columns, and a split pediment with the symbol of the amphora with lilies. The interior has three naves separated by marble columns with gilded capitals, and the ceiling is decorated with frescoes from the Valencian school.

The first waterwheel in this place dates back to the 15th century and was made of wood. The current waterwheel, made of metal, was installed in 1956 and is 11 metres in diameter. The waterwheel is used to raise water from the Acequia Mayor Alquibla to the Acequia del Turbedal, allowing the irrigation of the lands in the upper area of Alcantarilla. The museum, opened in 1967, shows the ethnology of the Huerta de Murcia and is focused on various axes such as agriculture, anthropology and water culture.

The Town Hall of Murcia (Murcia Region, Spain) is a 19th-century neoclassical building located in La Glorieta Square, the seat of the city's municipal institution. It consists of an annex, located in Plaza Belluga, designed by Rafael Moneo. The current Town Hall building or Council House stands on the site where the traditional seat of the Murcia City Council has been since the Middle Ages. During the Islamic rule, the Daraxarife or Princely Palace was built here, which belonged to the city's Alcázar Mayor. After the conquest of Murcia, Alfonso X the Wise donated this palace to the council in 1267. Since then, it has been the place where municipal judges or magistrates have carried out their duties.
