The Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Alcantarilla (Murcia) is a prominent Catholic church in the neo-Baroque style, built in the mid-20th century to serve the growing population of the Campoamor neighborhood.

The first waterwheel in this place dates back to the 15th century and was made of wood. The current waterwheel, made of metal, was installed in 1956 and is 11 metres in diameter. The waterwheel is used to raise water from the Acequia Mayor Alquibla to the Acequia del Turbedal, allowing the irrigation of the lands in the upper area of Alcantarilla. The museum, opened in 1967, shows the ethnology of the Huerta de Murcia and is focused on various axes such as agriculture, anthropology and water culture.

The Parish Church of San Pedro Apóstol is one of the most emblematic temples of Alcantarilla, in the Region of Murcia. This large and grand temple was built between the 60s and 70s on the site of the old church, which was demolished in 1961. The modern design of the current building was carried out by the architect Enrique Sancho Ruano. It includes works by the local sculptor Anastasio Martínez, such as the expressionist altarpiece of the High Altar, presided over by a 7-metre-high Crucifix.

The Casa del Cura, the Cuartel Viejo or the Mansión de Terol are the names given to an 18th century construction that, for almost three hundred years, has been the headquarters of various institutions and home to prominent local families. Currently it is only possible to see it from the outside.
