One step away from Murcia, there is no excuse to go

This is one of the riverside forests where you can spot different types of birds. Among the notable ones are the mallard, the common coot and the redfish. If you take a moment to stop, it is fascinating to observe their peculiar behavior.

It is located in the Aljufía irrigation canal and in times past it was a flour mill that once had three stones to grind cereals. Over time, it was used to grind paprika, a widely exported product that is produced in this and other districts of Murcia.

The bridge crosses over the Segura River, an important river in southeastern Spain that originates in the Sierra de Segura in Jaén.

The origins of this ferris wheel date back to the 15th century. In its day, it drew water from medium-depth wells to supply people and crops. Around there are other places to visit such as the nearby mills. It is a beautiful symbol of the Murcian garden!

Nice bridge that we find in the Contraparada area. An ideal place to run. There is a large grove of trees where you can stop to rest or have a picnic.
