This greenway, called So Vélo, connects Marmande to Pindères. Along the road, you'll find furniture for taking breaks. This cycle path is ideal for exploring the Garonne Valley.

Portion of the Garonne/Deux-mers canal. Pleasant shaded path. It's worth going up to the village of Meilhan for the view!

In Meilhan-sur-Garonne, it is possible to see the loop of the Garonne and the Lateral Canal. The mound, a site registered and protected since October 29, 1987, allows walkers to enjoy an exceptional panorama over the entire Garonne valley. From the rocky peak, you can contemplate the meander of Dame Garonne which flirts with the Lateral Canal.

Climb to the top with a nice view

I hope a bit of advertising is allowed. There is a marvellous B&B / gîte - Haras de la Tour - just 2.5 km off all of these routes at Lamothe-Landerron. Many cyclists have stayed here. Have a look at http://www.harastour.com/ It is 5 km from the start point at Sainte-Bazeille. If you get lost I can come and cycle back with you.

Beautiful canal, beautiful landscape, a few locks, a few places to stop for refreshments. Not always the best interface.

Very scenic, a few places to stop for refreshments. In the Gironde department, the surface is better than in the Lot-Garonne department. Sometimes nice and shady, many small locks.
