Barn Owl, a work of pure land art, sits majestically along the Peenacker hiking trail in Berthen. This barn owl, measuring over 3.5 meters tall, is an impressive sculptural installation created from natural elements of the Flemish Mountains. Its objective goes beyond aesthetics, highlighting local biodiversity to educate and surprise visitors of all ages. Liprandi Rodolpho; Italian artist born in Trieste in 1994. A graduate in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, he specializes in creating Land Art sculptural works depicting animals. These unique installations are the result of an in-depth exploration of the relationship between humans and nature. Using local natural materials, the artist conducts an artistic investigation aimed at raising awareness, educating and promoting the natural heritage of the areas where he works.
