Especially for children, it's a climbing paradise, whether in summer or winter. For adults, there are plenty of benches next to a large shelter.

There are two highlights here, but also here: an interesting residential area on the Mittelland Canal near Abbesbüttel with a Mediterranean flair. It doesn't really fit in with this area. But a boat dock behind the house is kind of cool, too.

From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the Oker. As can be seen in some photos, the river is one of the most water-rich regional bodies of water due to its tributaries from the Brocken area.
