There are two highlights here, but also here: an interesting residential area on the Mittelland Canal near Abbesbüttel with a Mediterranean flair. It doesn't really fit in with this area. But a boat dock behind the house is kind of cool, too.

There is currently a large tree on the path, no way around it, bikes have to be carried over. Be careful, there are several walkers with dogs in the morning.

Medium difficulty trail, slightly hilly and narrow. Very sandy at times on one incline, a bit tricky even with an E-MTB and Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB on the rear axle.

Here it is possible to cross to the other side of the Mittelland Canal. The climb to the bridge is very steep and can only be done by pushing.
