From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the Oker. As can be seen in some photos, the river is one of the most water-rich regional bodies of water due to its tributaries from the Brocken area.

The original church from the 13th century no longer stands today because it was torn down and rebuilt in 1595. It is beautifully situated and has an interesting tower.

In May 2024, all ponds were full again and there was a beautiful lake landscape with many birds. The partially rooty trail could be ridden without stopping, except for a tree obstacle in the western entrance.
