Kirschroth is a recognized tourist community in which 259 residents currently live. In 1990, the community took third place in the state competition “Our Village Should Become More Beautiful.” At 260 meters above sea level, Kirschroth is one of the highest wine-growing communities in Rhineland-Palatinate. The municipality covers an area of 764 hectares (of which around 80 hectares are viticulture, 284 hectares are forests, of which 140 hectares are community forests). A very nice viewing point, unfortunately without seating in winter. The lyrics to “Tell me where the flowers are” can be found on a wooden plaque.
