This road passes through the typical Alsatian village with cows and other livestock in the pastures. The surface of this road does have some cosmetic faults with rough surfaces but nothing to keep one from riding at a fast pace. The route is sometimes dirty due to the agricultural activity around but hey we are in the countryside, so it is not a complaint

Burnhaupt station is now the operational centre of the Dollertalbahn in Upper Alsace, which is operated as a museum line by the TTDA (Train-Thur-Doller-Alsace) association.
