An absolute highlight in autumn!

Just in case some stupid AI rewrites it again. My intended title for this highlight is: "Super Oaks - Real Giants!"

Very close to the quiet cobblestone road stand two magnificent, healthy giant oaks. They are almost unbelievably thick. I estimate the width or diameter of one of the trees to be a good 2 meters. That makes a very impressive circumference of approximately 6.3 meters. - You should measure it precisely, just for fun!

The lake is very clean, and this great swimming spot is quietly located. A large parking lot is just 100 meters away. Facilities include a long wooden jetty, a level access to the water, exactly four benches (two of which are new and very sturdy), and a proper covered rest area with a table and benches! Just being here and enjoying the view is completely worthwhile. There's plenty of space along the gentle slope, even if it gets quite crowded in hot weather. A small forest stretches behind the benches. Advantage: The location is sheltered from the wind. Disadvantage: You sit in the shade (almost always!). In the heat, shade can certainly be an advantage.

It's only open Wednesday to Sunday. But at least there are restrooms nearby, apparently, because they're specifically indicated.

The detour to the lake is worthwhile; it's simply pure nature. You can even take a break right by the water.

Along the way, you will be treated to charming views of the gently rolling landscape of the Uckermark. The quiet road winds through rolling hills and expansive fields, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Grumsin itself lies in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Grumsin Beech Forest, one of the largest contiguous beech forests in Germany. This section combines quiet paths with impressive landscapes and offers a wide range of impressions of the natural surroundings.

At the entrance to the town there are two impressive, ancient oak trees that are considered natural monuments. Both are in a healthy and magnificent condition. These mighty trees give the town a special atmosphere and bear witness to the region's long history. It is worth taking a short stop to appreciate the size and charisma of these oak trees.
