Very beautiful accessible walk

April 2025: The main house is currently being rebuilt after a fire in November 2024, so no catering will likely take place until the end of 2025. We recommend the holiday apartment above the donkey stable (pleasantly warm in April...).

Looked very run down and neglected in September 2024. The animals run around freely, including a large dog.

The Plateau des Grilloux car park is a great base for exploring this beautiful part of the French countryside. Located close to the starting point of several hiking trails, it provides easy access to the Plateau des Grilloux, known for its panoramic views and rich natural environment.

It's beautiful but it's not easy, lots of steep climbs in the area, both uphill and downhill! Only go if you're in good shape, otherwise it won't do you any favors

Magnificent road, hilly and winding as you wish, with countless ponds, each more beautiful than the last.

Here, we find a nice spot to rest. You can eat under cover if necessary, with benches and a large table. Nearby there is a small museum with ancient tools and a brief history of the village. The roads to get there are also pleasant and quiet.

Nice climb from the Val d'Ajol. Road in good condition with little traffic. Wooded and pleasant setting.
