The Carrière Prospèr is a former quarry in the Couvin region, far from the more famous climbing areas on the Meuse, Lesse and Ourthe. Still, it is worth climbing here, also because you can ideally combine this area with the Rocher de la Maiselle, only 500 meters away. A rectangular niche has been carved out in the middle of this wall with some of the most characteristic rift routes found in Belgium on either side. It is perhaps the best place in Belgium to put your crevice climbing skills into practice.
