The Capanna Cristallina is an alpine refuge located in the Canton of Ticino, in the Lepontine Alps, at almost 2,600 meters above sea level. It is open all year round and has beds, showers, refreshments and electricity. It can be reached from various locations, including Ossasco, Robiei and the Narèt dams. It is a starting point for ascents and traverses, especially for experienced runners, given the terrain and altitude conditions.

The Naret pass is an Alpine pass that connects Val Sambuco with Val Torta and Val Bedretto in the Canton of Ticino. It is located at the foot of Pizzo del Naret, at 2,438 meters above sea level. Nearby you can admire the Naret lakes and the Cristallina hut, offering various trail running possibilities especially for expert runners, given the terrain and altitude conditions.

Lake Naret is an alpine lake in the Canton of Ticino. It is located at an altitude of 2310 meters above sea level and is formed by the Naret dam, which uses the waters of the Maggia river to produce electricity. It is surrounded by a spectacular landscape, with mountains, forests and other lakes.

It is located at 2,278 meters above sea level, and can be reached from the town of All'Acqua, starting from approximately 1,600 meters above sea level. The path also passes by the Capanna Piansecco.

The Piansecco hut is a Swiss Alpine Club hut located in the Bedretto Valley, in the Canton of Ticino. It was renovated in 2020 and can be reached from All'Acqua or Cruina. It is located along the Four Sources Trail, which connects the sources of the Rhine, the Reuss, the Ticino and the Rhone.

The San Giacomo Pass is an Alpine pass that connects Val Formazza in Piedmont with Val Bedretto in the Canton of Ticino. It is located at 2308 meters above sea level and is the northernmost point of Piedmont. On the pass there is an old barracks of the Guardia di Finanza, now demolished, and offers splendid views of the Lepontine Alps and the Ticino Alps.

The infantry bunkers in Val Bedretto are fortification works built between 1935 and 1940 to defend the San Gottardo and Airolo from a possible Italian attack from the San Giacomo pass. They are located along the path that goes from All'Acqua up to the pass, and are historical evidence of a period of tension and defense of Swiss neutrality.
