The Corno-Gries hut is an alpine refuge in the Corno Valley, between the Novena pass and Val Formazza. It is located at more than 2,300 meters above sea level and also offers beds in a winter room. It is an ideal place for hiking and ski mountaineering, and the hut has modern architecture reminiscent of a control tower.

The hut is architecturally unusual, but in my opinion quite successful. The hut crew is very personable. There are a number of polenta dishes on the menu. The espresso is a poem.
