Fanjeaux, medieval city. Great place steeped in history with numerous options for coffee and a bite to eat....if you want a authentic French Market then head there on Monday mornings! Saveurs Des Couverts or No.20 are great for drinks. If you have time the cathedral is worth a look!

Lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by with a coffee or beer (when normal post Covid service resumes!). Try Number 20 on the main square for tapas.

Medieval Bastide town, lovely old square, lots of places to eat and drink but we always head for Number 20 - lovely south facing spot opposite the church.

Monday and Thursday market days. The city is also worth a visit on other days: The sidewalks and many cafes are below the 1st floor of the houses - so no rain and shady. Many - even in October still open - restaurants.
