The Lac de la Ganguise is a reservoir in the French department of Aude in the Occitania region. We've had 2 trips to Amy & James' beautiful bnb in the heart of the southern French countryside, both times we've been blown away not only by their hospitality but also their local knowledge of the best riding places. If you're after a cycling getaway, whether road or gravel, this is the place to be.

This is the best experience in the Pyrenees. Definitely recommend it. Amy and James will take great care of you and welcome you as if you were family. If you love to cycle in beautiful places, do yoga in a rustic chic studio, eat delicious home-cooked meals, relax by the pool, all while being surrounded by lush nature, this is the place to come to.

Lac Ganguise is a haven for water-sports enthusiasts and rightly so - it gets alot of wind! However, if you head to the north side of the lake there are lots of sheltered spots that are perfect for mid ride dip - in summer the water is warm and the colour is unreal!
