Accessibility: A large part of the rest of the lake shore is fenced off or difficult to access, which is why the beach is the primary and official swimming area. The Stellmoorer Tunneltal in Hamburg-Rahlstedt is known for its wide, open meadows. In late summer, heather blooms here and there, bathing the landscape in a soft purple. The landscape provides a habitat for many insects and birds. In order to preserve it sustainably, the sensitive ecosystem of the Stellmoorer Tunneltal is under nature conservation.

The bridge itself is practical and is close to the "Ahrensburg West" subway station. Unfortunately, it is incredibly dirty there. There is an American burger shop next door and there is dirt from the takeaway food on the stairs and all over the parking lot.
