The view of Lake Neukloster is simply magnificent. Remember that a popular hiking trail runs along here - so always expect walkers and hikers.

Was here often as a child. The mausoleum used to be open and you could take a look inside through the bars.

Beautiful lake with swimming area 💦

Unfortunately, the two benches directly on the hiking trail were very overgrown and not really usable. The figure is indeed very impressive and the story about the mausoleum and the deer is very interesting. Both can be read on an information board right at the entrance. The view of the lake is gorgeous.

You are completely surprised and fascinated to discover such a place in the middle of nature. It exudes something mystical, almost like an old sacrificial site. Beautiful!
