The town hall was built in 1939-40.

The town hall was built in 1939, on the same site as the previous building from 1797, which had been demolished. The Berlin architects Max Säume and Günther Hafemann were responsible for the architecture. The building is designed in a historicist style. This is particularly evident in the courtroom under which the main entrance is located and the gable roofs of the various wings of the building. The interior with the meeting room on the upper floor with the original wall paneling, among other things, has been largely preserved in its original form.[2] Opposite the town hall, at Luckenwalder Straße 2, there is a residential building that is also a listed building.

In addition to trading in animal feed, the Maaß company also produces pet food from its own products for its feed business in this historic building. Thanks to years of experience in the animal feed trade, the range has been expanded to include specially manufactured products with the help of its own mill.

The Clauert fountain stretches across the Trebbin market square in long strips of water, broken up by small fountains. The highlight is the Clauert sculpture kneeling by the water, fishing for "fried fish".

Christoph Gramberg's bronze Clauert figure on the market square recalls the story of how the rogue supposedly found a pond in which fried fish were swimming and dripping butter melted by the sun. The Clauert figure kneeling at the fountain is fishing two fish out of the water with a pan. It is the seventh stop on the city's Clauert tour.

The town hall, built in a historicist style, was built in 1939/1940 on the site of the demolished previous building from 1797. The plans were drawn up by the Berlin architects Max Säume and Günther Hafemann. To the right of the entrance, station 9 of the city's Clauert tour, is a relief that refers to the inclusion of the checkers board in the Trebbin coat of arms.
