The town hall, built in a historicist style, was built in 1939/1940 on the site of the demolished previous building from 1797. The plans were drawn up by the Berlin architects Max Säume and Günther Hafemann. To the right of the entrance, station 9 of the city's Clauert tour, is a relief that refers to the inclusion of the checkers board in the Trebbin coat of arms.

The town hall was built in 1939 on the same site as the demolished previous building from 1797. The Berlin architects Max Säume and Günther Hafemann were responsible for the architecture. The building is designed in the historicizing style. This is expressed in particular by the court arbor under which access to the main entrance is located and the gabled roofs of the various wings of the building. The interior with the meeting room on the upper floor with the original wall paneling e.g. is largely preserved in the original.
