A very interesting spring located directly on the path through the Bärental valley. Resting places in the form of benches are also available.

Design: This is a handcrafted, approximately two-meter-high panoramic heart made of steel, bearing the inscription "Görauer Anger." Function: The structure serves as a selfie spot and picture frame for the Jura landscape. It is equipped with a rotating seat. Location: The sculpture is located on the Görauer Anger, a scenic plateau on the edge of the Swabian Alps, offering views of the Kulmbach region and Plassenburg Castle.

On the Reuther Berg hill, at the top of the steep slope, stands the Sun Temple, a pavilion offering panoramic views far across Kasendorf. This is the second Sun Temple on this site. The first was built before 1936. The second, current Sun Temple was rebuilt in 1948/49. Two Kasendorf residents, master carpenter Fritz Schneider and carpenter Ferdinand Richter, undertook the construction of the pavilion themselves.

Around the pond are many small amenities, from information boards and a pavilion to photo frames, lounge chairs, and an animal enclosure. A lovely place to stroll and relax.

A small village with a beautiful chapel at the foot of the Niesten Castle ruins. The slopes surrounding the village are part of the northern foothills of the Franconian Jura.

Not much remains of the once mighty castle complex. Niesten Castle was first documented in 1127. In 1190, it passed into the hands of the noble Andechs-Meranier family. The Peasants' War of 1530 left the castle severely damaged, as did the Thirty Years' War. After the last bailiff moved to the Neydecker House in Weismain in 1710, the castle finally stood empty. In 1747, it was in a state of severe disrepair. The Niesten community attempted to save the castle in 1830. However, demolition continued in 1872. The last major remains of the castle collapsed in 1882.
