The Schwarzacher Steg is a striking covered wooden bridge. It spans the Main River near Mainleus.

Kieswäsch Lake is the ideal destination for those seeking relaxation just outside Kulmbach. Surrounded by meadows, the lake offers something for everyone: a level circular path invites you to stroll and hike. Those looking for more exercise will find excellent fitness equipment on a modern course. Large sunbathing lawns and a sandy beach at the lake create a true holiday atmosphere. For refreshments, there's a cozy beer garden right by the water.

The Hercules Fountain was erected in the market square in 1737 and later moved a few meters. The Hercules figure carries a club and is adorned with the coat of arms of Kasendorf: quartered silver and black on the left; a silver cat climbing the divider on a blue field on the right.

The old sandstone bridge is correctly called the "Mainbrille" (Main Spectacles) and dates back to the time of the Margraves. In this area, the inhabitants of Heinersreuth and Altenplos experienced the dramatic power of the Red Main River in the past. The floodplain was frequently inundated, especially in spring, and water flowed into cellars.
