The cemetery is on the edge of town. There are beautiful paths and trails here. There is a parking lot next door that is a good starting point for hiking. Dog owners must be careful, as dogs are not allowed on the hiking trails through the cemetery grounds. They must take Bernecker Strasse as an alternative. Appropriate signage is planned here.

Covered rest area directly on the Upper Ringweg. Here you can wait out a rain shower. Next to it is a wooden fountain.

Free swimming lake. Dogs not allowed. The circular hiking trails 1 & 4, as well as the Jean Paul Trail pass by.

Auf den Gottesacker in Goldkronach was built in 1616 a first church, the miners are said to have built it, who sacrificed 3 pfennigs a week back then. This Michaelsdorf was dedicated to God and the holy angels.
