The Landgraben can still be seen here. It runs from the valley floor (a cycle path) up to the hill and can be identified at various other points. In dry weather, the trail, which is a dirt road further up, can also be ridden with a regular (e-)bike.

Information board at the Württemberg Landgraben: the Old Württemberg Landgraben, whose construction was begun by Count Ulrich V in 1456 and continued by Count Eberhard im Bart until 1495, originally marked the northern border of Württemberg. In the following three centuries it served mainly as a source of customs revenue. However, as its strategic importance was only minor, it was abandoned in 1803 and was then increasingly subject to decay.

The Bahnhöfle Schozach beer garden is a cozy place right next to the former train station in Ilsfeld. Here you can enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. The beer garden is particularly popular with cyclists as it is located right next to the Bottwartal cycle path and has a bike service station.
