In May 2019, the water buffalo were resettled in the Bottwar meadows as part of the project for home, people, and nature. Their stable and pasture are located on the road between Großbottwar and Kleinbottwar.

The buffalo are not always visible, as meadows are also grazed behind the Bottwar, which are not visible.
