The town of Münchweier today has around 1,600 inhabitants and is located about 3 km east of Ettenheim in the lovely valley of the Ettenbach, at the point where the foothills of the Black Forest begin. The widening valley of the Ettenbach opens up to the west, and magnificent forests rise to the east and southeast. On both sides of the valley we find well-developed vineyard areas on the mountain slopes from which excellent wines are produced.

Ideal in summer. The shade. Children can use the nature experiments provided there to satisfy their curiosity and knowledge. Great information material. The whole family gets their money's worth here. One can enjoy forest, meadows, water paths. At the end of the path you can stop at the mountain restaurant (+ playground). The way back leads past a very beautiful paddock. Conclusion Children can splash around, experiment and get to know nature. Ideal for families. But also for solo hikers (in). So start hiking 👍🌞🥾
