Lots of cute farm animals, and a small fridge sells cheese and eggs from the farm, so having the right cash on you will be a joy :)

A very lovingly run hut, ideally located for various hikes and climbs. Many guests have stayed here several nights to enjoy more flexibility with minimal luggage. We felt very comfortable on our hut hike. The highlight is probably the food, which is incredibly delicious and fresh!

Once you reach the grotto, you'll have a magnificent view. You'll need a head for heights and surefootedness. A thrill guaranteed.

Inconspicuous spruce, with secrets. If you need a little schnapps to go, this is the place for you. But it shouldn't become a self-service shop, and if you drink, you'll have a few coins left over for the schnapps

A Schnapsfeichte is a term from the Tyrolean dialect and describes a special type of spruce that is known among hikers and mountaineers. "Feichte" is Tyrolean and means spruce. A Schnapsfeichte is a tree under which a bottle of schnapps is traditionally hidden. These Schnapsfeichten are often found on popular hiking trails, especially in regions such as the Karwendel, where customs and traditions are still very much alive. If you discover a Schnapsfeichte on a hike, you have found a piece of Alpine culture and hospitality. Well then: cheers!

Great view 👍🏻 if you want to quickly get to the Adolf Pichler Hut... 10 minutes... you can't get past here, but if you take it with you it's 30 minutes longer 😊👍🏻
