Near Puttenham Common Top Car Park there are some great views over the open heathland and woodlands.

August is a beautiful time to visit as there are colourful carpets of flora and fauna, purple and orange for miles to see, a feast for the eyes.

Crooksbury Hill is a wooded hilltop standing at 166m high in the Surrey Hills AONB. The hill is known for its scenic views and diversity of habitat, including heathland and woodland that provides a home to a variety of wildlife, such as butterflies and birds of prey.

Puttenham Common is a beautiful large open area of heathland and woodland situated in Surrey near Godalming. The reserve hosts a variety of habitats such as grassland, bogs, and ponds, which are home to a number of fascinating wildlife species including the Dartford warbler and the smooth snake.
