The official destination if you hike the Lechweg from Füssen, as we did. A perfect photo spot.

Nature, outwardly, is still intact. Blooming hay meadows, resting grazing cattle, even regular bus service to the nature reserves (even on Sundays) – what more could you want? However, this year there is/was too little water/snow in the mountains. The water level of Lake Formarien is about 15 meters (!) below what it will be in 2024.

The Black Furka Pass is a 2,199-meter-high pass surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. It is located in the Faludriga-Nova Nature Reserve, where, with a bit of luck, you might spot ibex.
