The train station in Zeitz, located on the banks of the White Elster River, was acquired by the city of Zeitz in 2015. Construction of the building began in 1909 and was completed with the inauguration on July 12, 1915. The station building consists of the central building with its tower, the station hall, and the west wing. To the south, the station hall opens directly onto the upper town. This attractive path leads directly along the lake and offers great views of the water.

recommended, quiet route, sturdy shoes are an advantage

The pipes that were driven into the sandstone should have been left out. It looks so unnatural.

Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in visually with the surroundings. Something closer to nature would have been better.
