The Victory Monument (Siegessäule) for 1871 is a widely visible column crowned with an eagle (a dove in the GDR). It was created by the father of the sculptor Wilhelm Späte. The memorial to the fallen of World War I was created by Wilhelm Späte himself. It is constructed like a wall behind it. Four pilasters with entablatures form three panels in which the names of the fallen were inscribed on garland-decorated panels. The middle panel, which protrudes from the wall like a block, bears the steel helmet as its sole symbol. The memorial has been altered several times. Currently, three panels are in place: the left and right panels bear the fallen of World War II, and the middle panel bears the names of the fallen of World War I. The right panel (center and bottom) contains the names of victims, relatives of people who moved to Kayna (resettlers or displaced persons), as well as victims of Stalinism. Milk Bench Fountain, created by Christian Späte in 2004 A brown bench with silver milk cans stands in the middle of the newly designed market in Kayna. And stonemason Christian Späte isn't even bothered if not everyone recognizes at first glance that the replica milk bench, complete with its many cans, is cast in concrete. That's what the artist intended. And that's not all the surprises. The milk bench can do much more. Properly staged as a fountain, water bubbles from four cans through foam jets. "It looks like milk," explains Späte. With the design of his fountain, for which the Kayna resident received approval from the Kayna municipal council, the stonemason fulfilled a childhood dream. The pipes that were driven into the sandstone should have been left out. It looks so unnatural.

Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in visually with the surroundings. Something closer to nature would have been better.
