Nice little "lake". But it's quite a distance to walk and therefore quite lonely. The water wasn't cold today.

From here, the view of the Karwendel is an experience. The view of the Inn Valley is also magnificent.

A cozy hut, good food and a friendly welcome are an experience at the end of a long day of hiking.

INFORMATION ABOUT ARRIVAL, TOUR & HUT 🚘 The journey by car is from Innsbruck to Wattens and there on the Wattental Landesstrasse via Wattenberg to the parking lot "Lager Walchen", 6113 Wattenberg 🚆 The train takes you to the Fritzens-Wattens train station. Unfortunately, there is no public transport connection from there. Taxis drive to the “Lager Walchen” car park 🅿️ Free parking at the end of the street (as of March 2022) 🛏 80 beds are spread over 2 and 4 rooms, as well as 3 camps. Super nice alpine club hut, highly recommended! Hike from there to the Tuxer Joch (with an easy detour to the Geier) is a particularly beautiful tour through the Tuxer Alps.

The animals are so cute. But you need a look for them so that you don't mistake them for stones.
