Neo-Gothic brick and stone chapel of two bays on a rectangular plan with a three-sided closure, under a gable roof, dating from 1909; surrounding brick wall and iron gate. Northern gable with a crowning stone cross and cut buttresses at the corners. Rectangular door in a natural stone pointed arch surround under a drip molding; arched field with Neo-Gothic tracery supported by columns with acanthus leaf capitals. Inscription "Monumentum Familiae de Bieberstein le Grelle". Crowning relief with coats of arms. Other sides are punctuated by buttresses and pointed arch windows. (Inventory of Immovable Heritage)

Built in several phases: the oldest parts, particularly the tower and nave, date from the 15th century; an extension with a choir in the 16th century; construction of the northern transept arm in 1778 and the southern transept arm in 1785, presumably in conjunction with the embellishment of the choir. Temporarily closed during the French occupation (September 1797 - May 1800). Design for restoration and expansion works by E. Careels from 1906; tender issued in 1910: addition of neo-Gothic aisles in 1910-1915. Severely damaged in 1940: the tower and the pointed gable to its right were almost completely destroyed, but were restored shortly thereafter to a design by F. Blockx and J. Heylen.
