This "Monumento ai caduti" surprises with an unusually simple design - in German-speaking countries usually referred to as a war memorial or memorial - which consists of a broken stone column as a sign of transience. Other design features often used for such memorial sites are completely missing here. The memorial gets a very personal touch from the memory of the fallen, who are shown with a photo in the square base of the round column.
