We've hiked both along the Passeirer Höhenweg (with an overnight stay) and directly from the Hochegg parking lot to the Hochalm. The former offers magnificent views, the latter is quite strenuous, but also beautiful.

The Lazinser Hof is an excellent stopover during hikes in the surrounding valleys. Situated in a central and panoramic position, the mountain hut is surrounded by large alpine meadows and is located at a high altitude, being the highest farm in the Passiria Valley. Inhabited all year round, the Lazinser Hof area has a long history that dates back to the 13th century, when the first settlements were documented. The farm, with its authentic and picturesque charm, welcomes visitors with its sunny position, offering an ideal place to rest and enjoy the surrounding mountain landscape.

The Hochalm refuge is located at an altitude of 2174 m at the foot of the Hochwart in the Southern Stubai Alps in a magnificent panoramic location in the midst of beautiful nature. It is the starting point, refreshment stop and base for mountain tours to the Hochwart, Hohe- and Kleine Kreuzspitze, as well as for the Passeier high trail that leads from the hut on the southern slopes of the Jaufenkamm to the Jaufenpass.
